BaKaLong is a traditional village of the Lahu ethnic group（拉祜族村寨）. "BaKaLong" is transliterated from the Dai language and means "desolate big dam". Located in the northeast of Brown Mountain Township, Ba Kalong boasts well-preserved ecological biodiversity, nurturing the Ba Kalong ancient tree tea, which is renowned for its ecological purity, rich content, excellent taste, and quality. When brewed, it exhibits a clear red hue, a strong and mellow taste, pleasant aftertaste, full-bodied with a lingering charm, durable and resistant to brewing, and with a hint of fruity aroma in the tea leaves.
