The first batch of LiuBao Tea made by our founder Mr. Ng was officially launched! The whole process was fermented in the ancient pottery tank, by using "Double Steam and Double Pressure" method. Packed with traditional bamboo basket to produce this batch of commemorative Liu Bao Tea!
Brewing by teapot is known as kungfu brewing. Each brew allows different experience of the LiuBao tea, feel the slight changes in taste, aroma and mouthfeel. There is also a difference when LiuBao tea is brewed with different tea ware. A slightly bigger purple clay teapot is recommended when brewing LiuBao tea, at least 160cc and preferably a tea pot that is slightly taller with a bigger 'belly'. This allows the tea to unfold itself and its characteristics.
Awakening Tea (also known as rinsing tea) is the process of which flavours of the tea leaves are "awaken" by contact with air and water. It has certain influence over the taste and mouthfeel of LiuBao tea.
